Nothing may be more important to a school and a school system in 2024 than the communication to its constituents. This event will bring together three communications directors and they will share work with each of you. We will look at the role of a dedicated communication director around their focus on communication and community. So much has changed in Tennessee since 2020, and each day it seems there are more people hearing more things about our schools that confuse them, dismay them, or even frustrate them. This event will help you develop a communications plan that you can use to create a flow of information to and from your staff, parents, community, and business leaders. This training will focus on how school leaders need to process information in house, how to disseminate information to all stakeholders, and how to create a community of well-informed parents, businesses, and citizens.
