Dr. Wanda Shelton

Assistant Executive Director (Associate LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE)

Wanda Shelton has served in public education for more than 30 years.  She taught social studies, was a high school counselor, a supervisor of instructional programs, a testing coordinator, and finally Director of Schools in Lincoln County Tennessee. 

Wanda grew up on a farm.  Her sister Lisa was also a teacher and is now a farmer, running the family farm with their parents, Betty and Earl Shelton.  Wanda attended the University of Alabama and has degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Tennessee State University.  Her free time is spent reading, cooking for friends and family, and with her two lovely granddaughters.
